Liverpool: it’s burning for Dominik Szoboszlai

Despite the very strong interest from Newcastle, Dominik Szoboszlai will indeed join Liverpool in the next few hours. Author of a fabulous season with RB Leipzig with in particular 10 goals and 13 caviars in 46 matches in all competitions, the former resident of Salzburg will discover the Premier League.

The Athletic announces today that the Hungarian star has successfully completed his medical examination at Liverpool. Dominik Szoboszlai will sign a 5-year contract, while RB Leipzig will collect a sum of around 70 million euros, the price of his release clause. The formalization of the transfer should take place in the next few hours. After Alexis Mac Allister, the Reds are strengthening in midfield after missing out on Aurélien Tchouaméni in 2022 and Jude Bellingham in 2023.
