John Terry is back! The legendary Blues centre-back is back in London. After an interesting stint as an assistant with Aston Villa, a little less with Leicester at the end of last season, the former England international has decided to return home. While he had already taken part in a consulting role in 2022 with his training club, John Terry will now join the staff in charge of training at Chelsea.
Chelsea’s emblematic captain, John Terry has been the symbol of the Blues’ success in one of the best academies in Europe for several years. Last season, several nuggets trained at the club evolved in the Premier League. Some intermittently (Omari Hutchinson, Bashir Humphreys), where others had more playing time (Connor Gallagher, Lewis Hall). This summer, however, Chelsea had to part ways with Mason Mount and Ruben Loftus-Cheek, two of Cobham’s best players in recent years.
