OL have quite a few projects to settle this summer on the transfer market. The Rhone club will in particular have to do good business at a lower price.

In Lyon, this start of the transfer window is not necessarily the most reassuring. After the departure of players like Houssem Aouar, Jérôme Boateng or even Thiago Mendes, it is now Castello Lukeba and Rayan Cherki who are announced starters. Regarding arrivals, OL are rather shy. It must be said that finances are not in good shape after another disappointing season and huge economic losses. OL will therefore have to do great business this summer. And two files are complicated: Renato Tapia and Samuel Umtiti. Regarding the Frenchman, OL are no longer so convinced of being able to sign the world champion, who is also being courted insistently in Italy.

Umtiti, OL have competition

Last season, Samuel Umtiti relaunched his career with Lecce. His performances have not left some Serie A teams indifferent. Indeed, Hellas Verona has expressed its interest in the former Barça player, now free of any contract. But the Gialloblu are not the only ones in the ranks, since this is also the case of Monza. In any case, this is what the Corriere dello Sport these last hours. Discussions have even been started with the entourage of the French player, who would not be against staying in Italy. Problem nevertheless for Monza, the fact that the club is in the most total uncertainty after the death of Silvio Berlusconi. The Transalpins have more than 70 million debts and are actively looking for investors. If Umtiti has moved away from OL, hope is not yet completely dead. The next few days will be important in the file. It is up to the Rhone club to do what is necessary, just like Samuel Umtiti, whose physique still worries as much.
