Well deserved vacation. After two victories against Gibraltar (3-0) on Friday and Greece (1-0) on Monday, the players of the France team have put an end to a trying season both at club and national level. Some players, who have played more than 50 games this season, will therefore finally be able to breathe before returning to a 2023-2024 edition which also promises to be busy.

Asked about this year which turned out to be tiring, the coach of the Blues, Didier Deschamps, drew up an enriching assessment of the performance of his team: “The sports season, in November and December, there was what is most beautiful in football. A World Cup. I don’t live with regrets but when you pass so close, there you go, one foot from the Argentinian goalkeeper but it’s not negative, there is a renewal that has been done, that I had initiated, it had cost us very expensive in the Nations League but it allowed players to gain experience.” To see what will be made of the next season for the EdF.
