After a mixed season with Inter Milan, Romelu Lukaku is back at Chelsea. The Belgian striker was only on loan last season and hoped to stay in Italy. But for the moment, no club seems determined to match the amount requested by the Blues. The 30-year-old is therefore expected to resume on the England side.
At a press conference this Friday, the new Chelsea coach Mauricio Pochettino returned to the situation of his striker. For the moment, the former PSG coach is counting on Lukaku. “He is due to return on July 12/13 to be part of the squad to start pre-season. With all the players coming in, the first thing they do is come into my office and say hello. That’s what I expect if he’s still a Chelsea player.”
