After terminating his contract with FC Barcelona last summer, Neto took charge of England and Bournemouth, with whom he appeared 27 times this season. The transfer of the 33-year-old player has allowed Barça to reduce the wage bill of its workforce. However, financial details are still to be settled between the Catalans and the Brazilian’s former club Valencia.

According to information from the SER padlockrelayed by Mundo Deportivo, the Catalan club must still pay 4 million euros, a sum meeting a number of outstanding variables demanded by the residents of the Mestalla Stadium at the time when Neto was transferred to the Catalan club in exchange for Casper Cillessen. The operation allowed the Blaugranas to recover 35 million euros against 26 million euros with bonus included in Valencia. If Barça has already paid 3 million euros in variables to the club Che, he still had to pay 6 million euros. However, the two clubs have agreed on a final payment estimated at 4 million euros. As a reminder, this financial dispute had been the subject of an investigation by the economic crime prosecution following a complaint filed by the former vice-president of Valencia, Miguel Zorio.
