Announced as a hot track as a right-back, Gonzalo Montiel will not ultimately join OL in the transfer window.

But according to information from the Olympique & Lyonnais site, there is no question for OL of recruiting Gonzalo Montiel. According to the Rhone media, the 2022 world champion was rather excited about the idea of joining his compatriot Nicolas Tagliafico in the capital of Gaul. But this enthusiasm was never shared by the OL board, which was not really interested in Gonzalo Montiel and which therefore will not complete this arrival.
Montiel has never been targeted by OL
In the right-back position, it is Clinton Mata who has the favors of the Lyon staff and the head of recruitment, Matthieu Louis-Jean.
