It’s the end of a cycle at OL! At the end of last season, John Textor officially put an end to the presidency of Jean-Michel Aulas. The American owner wants to launch a new project with almost total control over the decisions and the men he will place. JMA had been president of OL since 1987 and inevitably, he will leave a huge void in the hearts of the fans. Fans who enjoyed the game produced during a period when the Rhone club won 7 titles in a row from 2002 to 2008. If the dynamic has been much less good in recent years, Jean-Michel Aulas has left as a lord. And on the Groupama Stadium side, we don’t want to forget everything that has been accomplished. A fan of the Lyon club even has a major project to pay tribute to JMA.

In effect, Progress reports in recent hours that an OL fan, Guy Kattan, dreams that a statue in the likeness of Jean-Michel Aulas will be built at Groupama Stadium. The idea is gaining ground and a well-known sculptor has even given his approval to carry out this project.
