A few weeks after dismissing Philippe Clément, AS Monaco are preparing to appoint Adi Hütter as coach. The Austrian technician was dismissed a year ago by Borussia M’Gladbach.
Monaco not being in the race for a European ticket this summer, the club of the Principality, long on the podium of Ligue 1, having completely collapsed (1 draw and 6 defeats in the last 7 matches), the leaders of the ‘ASM took their time to appoint Philippe Clément’s successor. But, this Saturday, several sources announce that it is Adi Hütter, free since May 2020 and his dismissal from M’Gladbach who will settle on the Monegasque bench. Aged 53, and trained at the RedBull school, the Austrian-born technician has notably trained Salzburg (2014-2015), Young Boys Bern (2015-2018), Eintracht Frankfurt (2018-2021) and Borussia Mönchengladbach (2021-2022). There are still a few details to finalize, but the formalization should not take too long on the side of La Turbie, since AS Monaco resumes training on Monday July 3.
