Son of Waldemar Kita and deputy general manager of FC Nantes, Franck Kita was taken into custody by the Judicial Police as part of an investigation into various transfers.

It is the regional daily Presse Océan which reveals it this Wednesday evening, after having placed in police custody Tuesday Bakari Sanogo and Joaquim Batica, two agents who work with FC Nantes, the PJ did the same with Franck Kita. The son of the owner of the Canaries, who is the club’s deputy general manager, is currently being heard and must answer questions about various transfers considered doubtful. It is within the framework of a judicial investigation opened for illegal exercise of a sports agent activity by a national of a Member State or party to the agreement on the European economic area, forgery and use of forgery, misuse of corporate assets, laundering of aggravated tax evasion and laundering in an organized gang, that this custody has been decided indicates Presse Océan.

Frank Kita must explain himself on different transfers

Contacted by the local media, Philippe Astruc, public prosecutor of Rennes, indicated that he will be able to communicate once all the people concerned by this investigation have been heard. On the side of FC Nantes, no communication was made on the reasons which are worth to Franck Kita to have been placed in police custody, even if that obviously does not mean that the deputy general manager has something to reproach himself for.
