Relegated to the German second division with Hertha Berlin, Dodi Lukebakio is spoiled for choice. Several teams are interested in the Belgian striker, including Olympique Lyonnais. But the Rhone club has very little, if any chance of winning on this issue.

OL’s offer largely insufficient

The problem for Olympique Lyonnais, beyond the tough competition, is that the offer sent to Hertha Berlin does not meet expectations at all. The German club needs cash and hopes to recover 10 million euros on a permanent transfer, while the Gones offer a simple paying loan for 1 million euros, specifies the daily Bild. Suffice to say that the proposal of Olympique Lyonnais will not even be studied. Moreover, a close friend of Dodi Lukebakio confirmed to Foot Mercato that the operation would be very difficult to conclude for Lyon. The right winger passed by Toulouse therefore has very little chance of returning to Ligue 1 next season.
