Loaned by OM to Juventus this season, Arkadiusz Milik will be a long-term player in Turin. Indeed, after having hesitated for a long time to buy it, the Old Lady will let go of the money promised to Pablo Longoria.

OM will finally get rid of Arkadiusz Milik. The Polish striker is certainly effective but he has never found his place in the Marseille eleven. Benched by Jorge Sampaoli, he was loaned to Juve by the Marseillais during the season led by Igor Tudor. Among the Turinese, Milik quickly convinced. He scored nine goals in all competitions and was able to blend into the group led by Massimiliano Allegri. An arrival so positive that Juventus will finally buy it definitively despite some recent procrastination.

Milik to Juventus for 7 million euros

Indeed, at the end of the season, the Turin leaders hesitated to pay the purchase option of 7 million euros set by OM. Juventus are short of cash and qualifying for the modest Europa League Conference does not help their business. But, when Lazio was pointing the tip of its nose in the file, the Bianconeri accelerated to conclude this transfer. According to journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, they will pay the promised sum even though the deal is for €6m with the last remaining €1m in bonuses.

According to the Sky Sports Italia journalist, that’s enough for OM in a win-win-win deal. Milik is enjoying himself in Turin, both at the club and with his teammates. He can find the Serie A he loves so much and hope for playing time. Juventus recovers a player at a lower cost to recover and OM the money necessary to launch their summer transfer window. This is one less thorn in the side for Pablo Longoria and the future Marseille coach.
