Because the Olympic Committee only gives an opinion and this opinion will not be binding on the Professional Football League. For this to be the case, then Gérard Lopez will have to go through the appeal committee of the French Football Federation, and even an administrative tribunal. In other words, it seems certain that Bordeaux and Rodez will meet next season in Ligue 2, the Gironde idea being above all to try not to have this penalty point from the start of the 2023-2024 season.
