Highly coveted in the transfer window, Korean defender Kim Min-Jae will leave Naples. Several English teams, PSG or Bayern Munich have applied for this summer. But, according to Foot Mercato, the Bavarians have hit the jackpot.
Naples had a dream season with their first Italian league title in 33 years and the summer transfer window had a lot to do with it. The Neapolitans made golden moves with the Georgian Kvaratskhelia but also the South Korean defender Kim Min-Jae. Arrived last summer from Fenerbahçe against 20 million euros, he quickly made his transfer price profitable. Very solid on the man and efficient in anticipation, he brought Italy to their knees for the space of a season. Something to panic the European market for this summer. Naples and its president Aurelio De Laurentiis had little hope of keeping it but it was still necessary to determine its future destination.
Bayern convinced Kim Min-Jae!
The Korean was spoiled for choice this summer with English outfits Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea and Newcastle, PSG and Bayern Munich. Arrived late, the German club was not disadvantaged on the spot because it should sign the player in the coming days. This was revealed by Foot Mercato this Saturday evening.
A long-term contract and a net salary of 10 million euros await the Korean at his new club! https://t.co/vodvE9uEW7

According to media reports, Kim Min-Jae has opted to join Bayern Munich. The Bavarians will pay the defender’s release clause set at 47 million euros by Naples. Kim Min-Jae will have a nice multi-year contract in Germany. If the duration remains to be determined, we already know his future remuneration: 10 million euros net annually. Financially as sportingly, he will experience a great career development at 26 years old. For PSG in particular, this may be an opportunity to increase the pressure on Bayern for Lucas Hernandez, now threatened by a serious competitor.
