With the recent departure of Igor Tudor, OM are currently looking for their future coach. If the Marcelo Gallardo file seems to be the hottest, a last minute surprise cannot be ruled out.

Third in Ligue 1, OM are preparing for a drastic change this summer. If players are on the way out, the Marseille club is also awaiting the arrival of several reinforcements but above all a new coach. Marseille really wants to bring in Marcelo Gallardo who left River Plate in 2022, after having won 13 trophies with the Millonarios including two Copa Libertadores, the equivalent of the Champions League in South America. The Argentinian technician is not the only coach tracked by OM since Paulo Fonseca is also in the small papers of the Marseille management. In addition to the former AS Monaco player and LOSC coach, OM are also interested in a former Celtic Glasgow legend. Journalist Patrick Juillard confided that the Northern Irish coach was offered to OM.

Free of any contract since leaving Omonia Nicosia, Neil Lennon is presented as OM’s plan C if the club fails to reach an agreement with Marcelo Gallardo or Paulo Fonseca. Neil Lennon coached Celtic twice with whom he won the national championship 4 times and 4 cups. The 52-year-old coach is not insensitive to an adventure in Ligue 1. The most serious track obviously remains Gallardo but Lennon remains a credible contender to take up the torch from Igor Tudor. The identity of the future OM coach should be revealed, while the summer transfer window will soon open its doors and Marseille must recruit to hope to do well on all fronts next season. It remains to be seen who will be the future conductor of the Commandery.
