As part of the negotiations for the transfer of Arkadiusz Milik, OM could recover a player from Juventus Turin at a lower cost during this transfer window.
On loan with the option to buy from Juventus Turin this season, Arkadiusz Milik is temporarily back in Marseille. And for good reason, the Old Lady did not exercise the purchase option at 7 million euros to recruit the Polish international from OM. This does not mean that the former Napoli striker will wear Marseille colors next season. Juventus Turin still wants to recruit Milik but would like to lower the amount of the purchase option or review certain conditions of a potential transfer.

According to information from L’Equipe, Turin coach Massimiliano Allegri has confirmed to his management that he wants to keep Arek Milik in his squad next season. The Italian club thus tried a first approach with Pablo Longoria by asking for a new loan… without success since the Italian club wanted a purchase obligation conditioned on direct qualification for the Champions League. Out of the question for Marseille to accept such conditions.
Milik swapped with a Juventus player?
Pablo Longoria is open to a new loan with an option to buy, but the president of OM wants the conditions to be easier for this option to become compulsory and turn into a transfer. Negotiations are therefore continuing and could lead to an agreement quickly with a surprise at stake: the possible arrival as part of this deal of a player from Juventus Turin at Olympique de Marseille. In recent hours, this hypothesis has been discussed by the leaders of the two clubs. At the same time, Gianluca Di Marzio affirms that the agreement is not very far away between Juve and OM for the new loan with option to buy Milik, without the conditions of the option to buy are, however, disclosed.
