However, this obligation can be avoided or reduced in the event of a medal at the Paris Olympics, if he wins the Asian Games or the Asian Cup. This is also what happened to Heung-min Son, who won the Asian Games, allowing him to do a shortened military service. The next deadlines for Lee will be the Asian Games in September 2023 and the Asian Cup in January 2024.
