Croatia went to seek their qualification in the final of the League of Nations, against all odds. On the field of the Netherlands, the Croats returned well to their match but they conceded the opener. Malen concluded a great Dutch class action. However, in the second half, the Croats reversed the match with a penalty signed Kramaric then a recovery from Pasalic. But the Netherlands miraculously snatched extra time with a cold-blooded takeover from Lang at the last minute. No problem for the Croats who put their foot back on the accelerator in extra time. Petkovic sent a missile from long range before Modric converted the second Croatian penalty of the evening. 4-2, Croatia qualifies for the final of the League of Nations, against Spain or Italy on Sunday.
