James Milner leaves Liverpool for Brighton

Aged 37, and after eight seasons at Liverpool where he won everything, James Milner did not accept the contract extension offered by the Reds in order to afford one last challenge. And this Wednesday, the English international midfielder signed up with Brighton for one season with an option for one more year.

We’re pleased to confirm that @JamesMilner will join us on a one-year deal with a year’s option when his Liverpool contract expires on 30 June. 😁
