Relegated to National because of the decision to give the game lost to Bordeaux after the incidents of the last day’s match against Rodez, Annecy decided to use all possible remedies.

The match between Bordeaux and Rodez was interrupted in the 23rd minute after the intrusion of a Girondins supporter on the edge of the lawn. The latter had attacked the Ruthenian striker Lucas Buades and the match had not finally resumed. It was given as the loser for Bordeaux, which will therefore not go up, and therefore a winner for Rodez, which runs away and precipitates the descent from Annecy to National.

The Haute-Savoie club went very far by accusing the Rodez player of having faked an injury to claim victory on green carpet. Annecy went to the end of its reasoning by filing a complaint for “passive and active corruption” with the Public Prosecutor of Bordeaux, targeting Lucas Buades, the president of Rodez and the Aveyron club. According to the relegated club, the images are sufficiently telling to corroborate false and incoherent statements in the eyes of the club which considers itself aggrieved. In addition to this, Annecy seized all the possible commissions of the LFP and the CNOSF to contest the decision.

The idea is to put pressure to obtain a continuation in the offices from now on, with the possibility of making, according to them, a Ligue 1 with 21 clubs for next season, just to satisfy everyone or almost. But this is not without consequence on the calendar, and it is still necessary that justice gives reason to Annecy, while Bordeaux also disputes the decision, and that Rodez risks not being dragged in the mud either. Not to mention that Ligue 2 must increase to 18 clubs the following season, which also risks making people cringe.
