PSG’s summer transfer window will be hectic, very hectic. Among the players announced on the departure of the capital club: Neymar Jr.
PSG has no shortage of projects to settle in this off-season on the transfer market. Luis Campos is under pressure more than ever and will have to find a new coach to continue the Ile-de-France project. Then, the Portuguese sporting director will take care of notable arrivals but also departures. It’s hard to know what PSG will do with certain players, including Marco Verratti but especially Neymar. The Brazilian, at the end of the contract in June 2027, is pushed towards the exit. Long reluctant to this idea, the former FC Barcelona would now be inclined to look elsewhere, depending on the project offered to him. In England, the names of Manchester United, Newcastle and Chelsea return. But it is rather in Saudi Arabia that Neymar’s future could take place.

Indeed, the Arab country wants to make an impression this summer. After missing out on Leo Messi, Saudi Arabia haven’t given up hope of signing another international star in Neymar. At least that’s what Ben Jacobs has announced in recent hours. The journalist claims that Saudi emissaries arrived in Paris last Friday to meet the Brazilian’s entourage and see if a transfer was possible. RMC however, adds that Neymar still favors a future in Europe. To let go of the former Barça, PSG would claim nearly 75 million euros. Obviously not enough to scare the Saudis, who therefore take the temperature in this new XXL file. At 31, Neymar will have to make a strong choice for the rest of his career no matter what, especially after a major ankle operation.
