OM’s attacking sector should not contain Arkadiusz Milik next season. In any case, the Marseille leaders want to sell the Polish striker. The solution is expected in Italy. Juve gave up but another cador took his place.

It is not yet known if Alexis Sanchez will stay at OM next season. However, if he leaves this summer, Marseille will not rely on Arkadiusz Milik to replace him. Yet effective in front of goal, the Pole is not considered compatible with the game of OM. Marseille leaders have been trying to sell him in the transfer window for more than a year, without success. Milik was loaned to Juventus Turin during the season. The results are generally positive with 9 goals scored in 39 games. The Bianconeri even suggested that they would exercise the purchase option set at 7 million euros by OM.

Milik to Lazio for 10 million euros?

Nevertheless, the situation of the Turin club has turned everything upside down. Qualified for the modest Europa League Conference and in the sights of the Italian authorities, Juventus will have to think about its budget to the nearest Euro. Suffice to say that Milik is no longer a priority now. Juve will not exercise the purchase option, sending the Polish player directly to OM. Fortunately, Milik’s profile brings another Italian contender: Lazio.

According to the Italian newspaper La Repubblica, the Roman club has already started negotiations with its Marseille counterpart. The file is even set to be concluded next week with a transfer of 10 million euros. A sum greater than that offered by Juventus, which will logically satisfy Pablo Longoria. Milik will also find his account. The Polish striker will be guaranteed to play in the Champions League in Rome next season. Above all, he would find on the bench laziale Maurizio Sarri whom he had rubbed shoulders with in Naples. The two men get along very well and would love to work together again. However, this transfer should not drag on since Lazio also has younger targets: Giovanni Simeone (Naples) and Santiago Gimenez (Feyenoord) in particular.
