Very interested in the profile of Khephren Thuram during this summer transfer window, PSG has little chance of concluding the arrival of the French international.

Paris Saint-Germain’s chances of concluding the transfer of Khephren Thuram from OGC Nice during this summer transfer window are diminishing day by day. Despite a real interest on the part of Luis Campos to secure the services of the French international from Le Gym, the trend is absolutely not towards a transfer to the capital. Unless there is a big turnaround, it is in the Premier League that Marcus’ brother will continue his career.

Indeed, according to exclusive information from the British site Football Transfers, an agreement in principle has been reached between Khephren Thuram and Liverpool as part of the signing of a very long-term contract. To date, there is no agreement between the Riviera club and the Reds, but the British media claims that the two clubs are working with the aim of quickly finding common ground. OGC Nice is well aware that it has no chance of retaining Khephren Thuram and will therefore not oppose his transfer. Jean-Pierre Rivère nevertheless works with Florent Ghisolfi in order to recover the highest possible sum. Liverpool could sign a very big check in Nice to recruit one of the most promising midfielders of the French team.

Thuram, a transfer to more than 50 ME?

After shelling out between €30m and €40m including bonuses for Brighton’s Alexis Mac Allister, Liverpool would be keen to put an even bigger sum on the table for Khephren Thuram, arguably in excess of €50m. An excellent sale for OGC Nice if this is confirmed when the Riviera club had not paid a penny to poach Thuram from Monaco (at the end of the contract) in July 2019. For PSG, it is a good target who therefore flies into midfield, a sector of play where Luis Campos finalized the arrival of Manuel Ugarte from Sporting Portugal.
