Juventus drop Super League to Barca and Madrid

Juventus have announced that they have started negotiations to abandon their plan to join the Super League. The Italian club claims not to have yielded to UEFA’s injunctions.

Under the threat of a European sanction, following its embezzlement which has already earned it sporting concerns in Italy, Juventus indicated that it had sent a letter to Real Madrid and FC Barcelona to ask to leave the Super League project. Under the orders of Andrea Agnelli, the Old Lady had been at the base of this project of a closed league, Ceferin even considering that the former boss of Juventus was a traitor. But, the exit of the Premier League clubs had stopped the initiative, and with the current departure of Juve will mark the end of a competition which is now similar to the Clasico.

Referring to rumors in the press, Juventus informs that it has sent a letter to the two other clubs which, like Juventus, have not announced their withdrawal from the Super League project (FC Barcelona and Real Madrid) in order to begin a period of discussion between the three clubs concerning the possible exit of Juventus from the Super League project (…) It should be noted that many of the rumors reported by the press as to the content of the letter (including any reference to alleged threats of possible sanctions by UEFA) are not true “Said Juventus.
