The summer transfer window will open its doors in a few days and already the biggest players are announced everywhere. Some of them, however, cost a small fortune.
For some time now, the value of players on the transfer market has skyrocketed. Neymar was recruited 222 million euros and Kylian Mbappé 180 million in 2017 by PSG. Recruitments over 100 million euros then followed and almost became the norm. Enough to jeopardize the finances of certain clubs, which have not been able to make their investments profitable, at least sportingly. While the rise of some players drives up their market value, the CIES has unveiled in recent hours the most expensive players in the world in estimated transfer values. Erling Haaland logically dominates this ranking.

It appears that the Norwegian is the player with the highest market value, he who is estimated at 245 million euros. Next on the podium are Vinicius Jr (196 million) and Bukayo Saka (196 million). Note the tenth place of Kylian Mbappé, valued at 163 million euros. A normal ranking, however, because there is only one year of contract left for the 2018 world champion with Paris Saint-Germain. Another Frenchman present in this ranking: Eduardo Camavinga, in 14th position, with a market value of 118 million euros. The full ranking below:
