OL ripped off 12 million, the shame is great

OL will not play in any European competition next season. The Rhone club pays in particular for the bad choices made during the last transfer window periods.

Next season is likely to be very gloomy once again for OL fans. The Rhone club will not compete in the European Cup and the summer promises to be a bit disappointing. Unless John Textor puts his hand in the portfolio to considerably strengthen the workforce of Laurent Blanc. The last transfer window periods have in any case not brought satisfaction. And above all a player: Amin Sarr. The Swede joined OL at the very end of the winter transfer window for the sum of 12 million euros from Heerenveen. He only scored one small goal in 13 Ligue 1 games. To make matters worse, his overall performance was not at all convincing. It is not Nicolas Puydebois who will say the opposite…

Sarr, a flop that is debating

On the set of Olympique and Lyonnaisthe consultant has not made in the language of wood concerning Amin Sarr, of which he already hopes nothing more. “Amin Sarr is a bit at his expense. It’s hard but when you make a recruit during the winter transfer window, it’s to bring added value. It’s not just spending 12 million to spend 12 million. When we saw him play, there is no promise that emerges from this player. There are no sparks or a little thing that makes me say that he will progress. (…) It’s a flop. You can’t tell me otherwise. We recruited him and when he brought the OL jersey, he brought nothing. He may have nothing to do with it, but he doesn’t have the level. We saw him lost, in particular indicated Nicolas Puydebois, who was not at all convinced by the services of the Swede, whose future is already in question. Still under contract until 2027, Sarr is not immune to a loan (or more) and his future will be discussed in the coming weeks with his management.
