Ishak Belfodil briefly in police custody for violence

Former Olympique Lyonnais player, and passed through the PSG training center, Ishak Belfodil was placed in police custody for several hours in a police station in Yvelines. He was accused of hitting his 15-year-old sister.

It is Le Parisien which indicates this Monday, Ishak Belfodil, the 31-year-old Algerian international striker who is currently playing in the Qatar championship, was arrested by the police last night at his parents’ home, in the Paris region, where he spent a few days. Sunday, around 6:45 p.m., the police were contacted by the sister of the footballer, who accused the latter of having assaulted her. When they arrived on the spot, they found that the 15-year-old girl indeed had traces of strangulation and even scratches on her arms. However, his condition did not require any emergency treatment. Immediately, Ishak Belfodil was arrested and placed in police custody. However, even though she called the police after her attack, Ishak Belfodil’s sister has still not filed a complaint, even though she was supposed to. According to the Ile-de-France daily, it is now the Versailles Prosecutor’s Office which will study the follow-up to be given to this case. And according to the Algerian press, the charges have been dropped.
