Real Madrid has made it official, after 14 years at the club, Karim Benzema will not extend his contract and therefore leaves the Spanish club. Even if nothing is indicated, it is clear that KB9 will sign in Saudi Arabia.
The suspense ended this Sunday, since for a few days the Madrid future of Karim Benzema had become uncertain since the announcement of a Saudi offer of 100 million euros per season over two years. In a press release, the Merengues confirm that the former Lyon player, who arrived in 2009 and who won a multitude of trophies in the Madrid jersey, would leave once the season is over. In order to pay tribute to the French Ballon d’Or, a ceremony is scheduled for Tuesday June 6, at 12:00 p.m. in the presence of Florentino Perez. In Madrid, and in 14 seasons, Karim Benzema has played 647 games, scored 353 goals and lifted 24 trophies.
