L2 ‍: Laurey replaced by Stéphane Gili at Paris FC

The day after the last day of the Ligue 2 championship, Paris FC formalized its change of coach.

Paris FC and its President Pierre Ferracci announce the departure of Thierry Laurey. The 59-year-old technician will be replaced this summer by Stéphane Gilli, new coach of the capital club’s men’s first team. Arriving in the summer of 2021, Thierry Laurey will have had a successful first season with Paris FC, managing to hoist the club from the capital to the jump-offs to the next level, with a fine 4th place. The match lost in particularly unfortunate conditions against Sochaux, during these play-offs, remains in everyone’s memory. This 2023-2024 season, even if it is marked by disappointment, in view of the initial ambitions, ends with a very honorable 7th place, tied on points with 6th.
