OM will have to find a new coach in the coming days. Igor Tudor has slammed the door and Pablo Longoria has no shortage of leads to replace him.
In Marseille, this end of the season is turning into a nightmare. The Marseille club had to settle for third place in Ligue 1 and now Igor Tudor has decided not to continue the adventure. The Croatian coach, exhausted, will therefore soon be replaced at OM. Pablo Longoria will have to be very skilful concerning the future coach of the Phocaeans. Because the play-offs in the Champions League are fast approaching and the new Marseille strongman will have to quickly take the pulse of the Marseille environment and its new training. Among the candidates for the position of coach of OM, the names of Paulo Fonseca (Lille), Franck Haise (Lens), Marcelino or Marcelo Gallardo come up quite a bit. According to information from Tutto Mercato, the profile of Ivan Juric could well convince the management of OM. The Torino coach still has a current contract until 2024 with the Piedmontese club but is not against a new adventure. If he first wants to finish the season as well as possible with his team and why not aim for a place in the Europa League Conference if Juve were again sanctioned, Juric has never closed the door to a departure: “A trip abroad? it tickles me a lot. For the moment, I can’t say if we will see each other again in July, but I admit that the foreigner excites me a lot because the level is higher than our reality. We are all going to have to come together to talk and see”. OM are therefore monitoring the situation around Juric, a Croatian just like a certain Igor Tudor, who is also a very good friend of his. Everything suggests that the current Torino coach would therefore be very interested in the possibility of taking over the Marseille reins. Ironically, in 2021, Igor Tudor took over from Juric at Hellas Verona before heading to OM.
