Le50: 2014 – The Best Prospects in French Football
Welcome to the third annual edition of #Le50. This is a collection of the best young footballers currently playing in France – all the players featured were born on or after the 1st of January 1992. The team at French Football Weekly have spent the last few months deliberating and voting on who to include from a list of around 200 players.
The original fifty has been chopped and changed, either players fall away or some go on late runs and grab our attention. You always have to draw the line somewhere, and with the amount of talent coming through in France, the next batch are already making themselves known.
The articles covering all fifty players combines to about 30,000 words. We have also asked four French football experts to pick a team consisting of players from #Le50. The results are very interesting.
We are confident you will not find a more comprehensive guide to the best young talent in France anywhere else. Not in English or French.
This is always a labour of love every year, we are very proud of this year’s edition; we hope you enjoy it.
