David Beckham will not be joining Paris Saint Germain
Former England international David Beckham has announced he will not be joining Paris St-Germain this winter. It had seemed the LA Galaxy midfielder would choose between the Parisian giants or possibly a return to the MLS for the new season in March.
“It’s over. It’s a shame,” PSG sporting director Leonardo told L’Equipe.
“But the welfare of his family in LA, the wish not not to change everything in his life, weighed heavily.”
French Football Weekly announced at the start of December that the move to Paris was not as far forward and the Parisian media would lead you to believe.
Two more blows for Ancelotti this week. Apparently Kaka has advised close friends that he will not be moving to Paris this winter. Fellow target Alexander Pato also looks unlikely to make the move to France. Not the best start under the reign on Ancelotti, who will the Italian and Leonardo target during the window. We will have to wait and see.

The much maligned Raymond Domenech is looking to get back into the managerial game. After staying out of the limelight since the disaster during the 2010 World Cup the former Les Bleus manager has kept a low profile. It seems now he is ready to throw his hat into the ring, and it seems he has an ideal project in mind.

“There is only one club in Paris. 10 in London, two in Barcelona, two in Madrid. It would be nice to have a rivalry in the same city between two Parisian clubs. I might even take charge of a club in the CFA or DH if the project is good. “
A very interesting quote. Red Star Paris and Paris FC currently play in the 3rd tier of French football. Red Star are still currently looking for a new manager. What a move that would be for Red Star. We’ll keep you posted.

In transfer news Valenciennes are trialing Andrezinho, the Brazilian midfielder had been previously contracted by Ferenvacos. The 25-yr old played for Corinthians back in 2007.

Former Rennes defender Bira Dembele has signed on loan at Red Star FC 93 from Ligue 2 side Sedan. The 23-yr old defender has only play 71 minutes for Sedan this season and moves to Paris on a six month loan deal.

Martin Jol has ruled out a move for Andre-Pierre Gignac. The Marseille forward had been heavily linked to Fulham. The possibility of bringing the striker on loan to London.
