Liverpool: ‘drug paraphernalia’ found in toilets at club’s Christmas party

Scandal in Liverpool. The Christmas party organized by members of the Mersey club staff took an unexpected turn. According to the Daily Mailthe event which brought together nearly 500 Reds employees was stopped after “drug paraphernalia” was found in the toilets of Liverpool Anglican Cathedral, where the party was held. Officials made the discovery during searches after a medical incident.

According to the British media, neither Arne Slot nor any of the first team players were apparently present at this party. “We do not endorse or condone the use of illegal substances at any of our venues or events. We thank the event organizing team for their quick action and professional response to the unrelated medical emergency.”expressed the club in a press release. The victim of the incident, which was not linked to drug use, is now out of danger.
