The former PSG player expressed his desire to play the next World Cup with the Séléçao. “Obviously the World Cup is the goal for all the players. I’ve played it three times already, I obviously want to do the fourth. I have to be focused on that, prepare well here and have this medium-term goal after getting back into shape here, in my club,” he declared on RMC Sport.
Strong words which confirm the ambitions of the Auriverde genius. The 32-year-old has not worn the Brazilian jersey since October 18, 2023 and the match against Uruguay where he seriously injured his knee.
