Arsenal is currently conducting an internal investigation into anti-Semitic messages posted on X by an account that appears to belong to Mark Bonnick, according to The Guardian. The account, which carried a photo and a variation of the name of a club academy equipment manager, was highlighted by an anti-anti-Semitism group after anti-Semitic exchanges were posted with members of the Jewish community. The account was made private before being deleted, but screenshots of these interactions circulated, including Holocaust denial and anti-Semitic remarks.
The club responded by saying it was investigating the matter in accordance with its internal policies and condemned any form of discrimination. The English Football Association (FA) has also been informed of the incident, and if Bonnick’s responsibility is confirmed, a further investigation could be opened against him. However, the British media outlet could not confirm whether Bonnick was indeed the author of these publications. Arsenal and the English federation are continuing their investigations to determine the exact responsibilities in this matter.
