DNCG-PSG, was there a conflict of interest? Not according to Jean-Marc Mickeler. The president of the DNCG found himself in slight turmoil after the revelations announcing that his daughter worked for Paris Saint-Germain. Accused by some of having played intermediary for his daughter, the head of the financial control body wanted to set things straight in The Team.

“Like all members of the DNCG, I am subject to the strictest rules of independence, to which I comply scrupulously. At no time did I interfere, directly or indirectly, in his recruitment. These insinuations seek to create controversy where none exists. They attack a young woman selected on her merits after a demanding process, question my integrity, and attempt to discredit the DNCG, an institution which works with impartiality and rigor in the service of the financial regulation of French football.assured the 54-year-old man. The debate therefore seems closed.
