Eden Hazard, the legend of Chelsea, took the liberty of suggesting a coach to the Blues board.

Chelsea are currently without a manager. The London club has parted ways with Mauricio Pochettino and is actively looking for a replacement. Names have been mentioned in the media, such as those of Maresca or Sergio Conceiçao, but there has obviously been nothing concrete.

Eden Hazard, the former great Blues player, took the liberty of giving his opinion on the subject. He believes his former teammate Cesc Fabregas should be offered the position in question.

Hazard pushes for the nomination of a friend

Cesc has just brought Como up to Serie A as co-coach. His beginnings in the profession are therefore very promising. His former Belgian teammate therefore sees him reaching a new level this summer. In an interview with talkSPORT, he said: “Maybe Roberto de Zerbi would be good for this role. Or, I also have a friend in Como (Fabregas, editor’s note). He can also be a head coach.”

Regarding the breakup with Mauricio Pochettino, Hazard said: “I was a little sad, to be honest. I think he did a good job. I know people want Chelsea to be in the top four, but it’s just a transitional season. He’s a great manager. I wish him good luck. Let’s see who will be there in the future.”
