Thiago Silva’s wife Isabelle has posted a cryptic new message on social media following Chelsea’s 5-0 defeat to Arsenal.
Mauricio Pochettino did not include the 39-year-old in the Blues’ starting XI against Arsenal and only brought him on in the 78th minute, in place of Alfie Gilchrist, as the Blues were already led by five goals by the Gunners.
Last February, Silva’s wife Isabelle shared a cryptic message on social media after the club’s 4-2 defeat to Wolves in the Premier League: ” It’s time to change. If you wait any longer, it will be too late.” On Tuesday, she again posted on X three emojis representing the “three wise monkeys”, which embody the proverbial principle “ See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil.”
The Brazilian veteran is set to leave the club this summer, with his contract with the Blues ending on June 30. He has already reached a verbal agreement with Brazilian club Fluminense and will officially sign as a free agent when his lease expires.
The west London side’s next meeting is on Saturday, in a Premier League away game against Aston Villa.
