The former Parisian, Thiago Silva, will no longer wear the colors of Chelsea from next season.
Thiago Silva’s story with Chelsea is over. After a four-year adventure, it was mutually decided to separate. A decision which is not at all surprising given that the experienced fullback has seen his playing time reduced this season.
Thiago Silva returns home
“O Monstro” will therefore leave London, but he does not intend to hang up his crampons yet. According to Goal Brasil, the former PSG captain reached a verbal agreement with Fluminense for a short-term contract starting this summer. At 39 years old, he will therefore make his comeback to the country this summer.
Thiago Silva knows “Flu” very well since he played there between 2006 and 2008. It was just before his arrival at AC Milan, and he played 143 matches there (for 14 goals scored).
For information, Thiago Silva is no longer part of the Brazilian selection. The 2022 World Cup was his last tournament played with the Seleçao.
