Four days after once again helping out in central defense, Aurélien Tchouaméni regains his place as number 6 for Real Madrid’s Champions League round of 16 second leg against Leipzig, this Wednesday evening at the Bernabéu.

Winner 1-0 in Leipzig three weeks ago, Real Madrid opts for a particularly solid starting eleven for the reception of the Roten Bullen, this Wednesday evening at the Bernabéu, in the round of 16 second leg of the Champions League.

Carlo Ancelotti has in fact decided to start with Federico Valverde right attacking midfielder to accompany Jude Bellingham, central free agent, and Vinicius, left attacker. Rodrygo and Brahim Diaz thus start on the bench, somewhat to everyone’s surprise.

Nacho with Rüdiger

In the midfield, we find the two French internationals Aurélien Tchouameni and Eduardo Camavinga. The first city had once again helped out in the central hinge alongside Antonio Rüdiger, last Saturday against Valencia in La Liga, but regained its position of number 6 this Wednesday. The German rock is accompanied by Nacho.

On the Madrid bench, we also find Kepa Arrizabalaga (permanently relegated behind Andriy Lunin), 2018 Ballon d’Or Luka Modric and Joselu (returning to competition).

The Real Madrid lineup: Lunin – Carvajal, Rüdiger, Nacho, Mendy – Kroos, Tchouameni, Camavinga – Valverde, Bellingham, Vinicius.
