The former glory of Dutch football, Ruud Gullit, does not have too many concerns about the arrival of Kylian Mbappé at Real Madrid.
Kylian Mbappé’s departure from Paris Saint-Germain is now official. The French striker should, barring any surprises, join the ranks of Real Madrid at the end of his contract next June. This arrival is causing a lot of talk, with divergent opinions on his integration into the Madrid locker room.
Former Real Madrid player Ivan Helguera is skeptical. He fears that the arrival of Mbappé, added to the presence of other stars like Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Jr, will harm the balance of the team.
Gullit advises Ancelotti
Ruud Gullit, 1987 Ballon d’Or and ex-AC Milan star, is more optimistic. The former Netherlands playmaker believes that Carlo Ancelotti, the Merengues coach, will be able to manage the integration of the 2018 world champion.
“The risk of destabilizing the Real locker room with Mbappé? Ancelotti can control all that. He must ensure that all the players adapt to each other,” he declared for the Madrid daily A.S. this Monday.
Mbappé like Bellingham?
Gullit compares Mbappé to young English talent Jude Bellingham, who joined Casa Blanca last summer. He believes that the two players have the same profile.
“I don’t think Mbappé is very selfish. On the contrary, he is a very social guy. He will adapt as quickly as Bellingham, they seem to work the same way,” judged the Black Tulip.
