Reassuring news for Maignan
As the former Lille player prepares to return to the pitches of the Italian championship (this Saturday against Bologna), his coach Stefano Pioli gave reassuring news concerning him at a press conference. “Mike is calm and strong. He is also proud of the support he has received from his club, but also from the entire football world. He trained very well this week”confided the Italian technician.
He also wanted to thank Udinese for the sanctions put in place as well as the reactions which he said were good. “Udinese behaved impeccably in their handling of the situation and the sanctions. 99.9% of people go to the stadium to experience a sporting moment, to exult, encourage the players and to show passion. But there are things that cannot be tolerated, the reactions have been good from our club and from everyone. We had to react firmly”he continued.
