Losc won in Le Havre on Sunday, and took the opportunity to regain the European places (0-2, 7th day of L1). For its part, Toulouse stunned Metz (3-0).

It was a story of awakening this Sunday in Le Havre and Toulouse. In the North first, it was not the locals who were celebrating, but rather the visitors from Lille who rediscovered the taste of success after a draw and a defeat in the championship. The Mastiffs won at Le Havre thanks to Edon Zhegrova’s opener (0-1, 40th), before Yoann Salmier scored against his camp to, despite himself, offer the goal of the break and the definitive victory in Lille (0-2, 52nd).

Thanks to this success, LOSC temporarily climbs to sixth place in the ranking, three points behind the Monegasque leader. At the same time, Toulouse did not make any details at home by winning against Metz (3-0). The scenario settled in the second part of the first period with the opening score of Niklas Schmidt (31st), before Thijs Dallinga doubled the lead just before the break (2-0, 43rd).

Toulouse blows

Upon returning from the locker room, and despite three changes, the Messins were unable to find the key that would have allowed them to get back into the game. On the contrary, it was the Violets who definitely hit the nail on the head ten minutes from the end, this time thanks to Frank Magri (3-0). After six consecutive matches without the slightest success, in all competitions, Téfécé offered itself a significant breath of fresh air. Here he is now provisionally ninth in the championship, while Metz suffers a second defeat in a row which drops him to 13th place.
