Olympique Lyonnais have rejected Paris Saint-Germain’s latest offer for Bradley Barcola.

The 20-year-old has become one of Ligue 1’s mainstays of late. At the end of a season in which he scored five goals and provided nine assists, while participating in the European Under-21 Championship, the versatile striker has no shortage of suitors.

Indeed, PSG are longtime admirers of the young Lyon product and it is he who has so far taken the most concrete steps to recruit him. At the end of July, Lyon rejected an offer which would amount to 30 million euros, but PSG were not deterred.

According RMC, the Parisians have now submitted another offer in a similar region, but with significant bonuses. But this offer was also rejected.

Premier League interest

PSG will continue to insist as club boss Luis Enrique is said to be very interested in Barcola even though he is close to signing Ousmane Dembele. Perhaps it is in view of a possible transfer of Neymar, whose return to Barcelona seems closer than ever.

The aforementioned report also mentions interest from the Premier League. Manchester City, still looking for a replacement for Riyad Mahrez, is cited as one of the two “great” English admirers. The Cityzens are also interested in Crystal Palace’s Michael Olise.

Another “big” Premier League club, whose name has not been revealed, is also in the running. The Liverpool side have already been credited with an interest in Barcola but it can’t be said for sure if this is indeed the outfit chasing the Frenchman.
