France Announce World Cup Squad for Canada 2015

On Thursday morning Coach Philippe Bergeroo named his 23-woman squad for the 2015 World Cup in Canada this summer.

There were no real surprises in the squad, but a couple of names perhaps unlucky to miss out. Corine Franco-Petit was not included although she has 89 caps – but she hasn’t featured since the Cyprus Cup in 2014. Amandine Henry has stepped into that role well and is six years her junior.

France’s first game is against England in Moncton on June 9th.
