We are on Facebook too – see down the right-hand side
Over the past six years, French Football Weekly has established itself as the premier English language website dedicated to French football. You can keep your throw-away-transfer-rumours and quick-hits. Our goal is to bring you insight, stories and analysis. Every time you read an article on FFW we want you to come away having learned something.
Writers – FFW wants you
If you know your FCM from your FCN, your Malang Sarr from your Ismaïla Sarr, and the difference between Morgan and Killian Sanson, if you follow a Ligue 1 club, watch games most weeks, and have an interest in writing – get in touch.
You can write about anything you want, as long as it is football-related, past or present, with a link to French football. We are always on the lookout for historical articles, or Frenchmen abroad. Anything that you find interesting and think our readers will too.
Unfortunately, we cannot pay for contributions. No one at FFW gets paid for what they do, not even the team doing the twitter coverage and writing every week. We do it because we love it.
However, look at our writers. Andrew Gibney is now a freelance journalist, Jonathan Johnson works at Eurosport and ESPN. Pete Sharland, Maher Mezahi and Igor Mladenovic have gone on to receive offers of work after penning articles regularly for FFW. If you have ambition and you want to climb the writing ladder, FFW is a great place to start. We’ll link to your site, blog, twitter on anything published. Let us promote your work.
