This week we start the podcast talking about Evian’s decision to sack Pablo Correa after only four games, after their excellent 9th place finish under the Uruguayan last season we look at whether or not this is a good decision by the Evian hierarchy.
We also round up the late transfer moves by Ligue 1 sides. Hugo Lloris move to Tottenham, Benjamin Corgnet to Lorient, Arnold Mveumba to Lyon and Joey Barton’s loan move from Queens Park Rangers to Marseille.
This takes us into the first game of the weekend Marseille v Rennes, followed by Bastia v St-Etienne, we of course also look at PSG’s excellent 2-1 win over Lille.
The five candidates are then picked for August’s Player of the Month vote. Who will make the shortlist?
